The
fifth step of the StockGarden Trading System
allows an investor to determine which Premier
Stocks currently have Buy signals. It
also displays the transaction status of all
other Premier Stocks. All transaction
signals--to Buy, Hold, or Sell--are issued by
StockGarden on the weekend. The rank of
a transaction signal, based upon StockGarden
valuations--valuations determined by the
ratio of price to value--may, and often does,
change daily. Top Stocks Extra displays
those changes and shows both the current and
previous rank, alerting an investor to any
positive or negative direction in the
movement of a stock.
Although
Hold or Sell signals may remain in effect for
an indefinite period, a Buy signal for any
Premier Stock, remains in effect for only one
week--for the trading week that follows the
weekend when the signal was issued.
StockGarden recommends that investors check
transaction signals each weekend. A
quick review of Top Stocks Extra will reveal
any change in the transaction status of any
Premier Stock affected by the weekend
update. This allows an investor to make
an informed decision regarding acquisition of
a Premier Stock, or regarding any other
pending action pertaining to the stock.
By checking the weekend update of Top Stocks
Extra, an investor may be better prepared to
take immediate action when the markets open
on the next day of trading.
Basically,
whether buying or selling a stock, there are
only a few actions to be taken to benefit
from Top Stocks Extra. An overview of
those actions is shown below.

-
When
a Sell signal is issued by Top
Stocks Extra, place a sell
limit order for the stock
before the markets open the
next trading day. The
StockGarden Limits Calculator
may also be used to compute an
advantageous Exit Price (sell
price). StockGarden
strongly recommends that you
take advantage of the benefits
offered by using the Limits
Calculator, step seven of the
StockGarden Trading System.
